DCA Primary Care Community Services Contract Particulars
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit have recently written to Practices with a copy of the 2022/23 DCA Primary Care Community Services Contract Particulars.
If Practices have previously held multiple DCA contracts with the CCG these will all be contained in this one contract.
Practices should review the Contract Particulars, confirm that they are correct and if in agreement, print, sign and scan the signature page back to agcsu.dcacontracts@nhs.net within 10 working days of receipt.
Inflationary Uplift for 2022/23
It has been agreed that an inflationary uplift will be applied on an annual basis to all enhanced services. This is to bring primary care enhanced service contracts in line with all other contracts. The rate that will be applied each financial year will be detailed within the financial planning guidance that is published annually in December. It has also been agreed that the uplift to tariffs for 2022/23 will be calculated from 2020/21 and applied to enhanced service contracts from April 1st for 2022/23. This uplift will not be retrospectively paid due to payment protection being in place. The uplifts are calculated after the national efficiency rate has been deducted.
The rates that are to be applied are as follows - 2020/21 = 1.40%; 2021/22 = 0.20% and 2022/23 = 1.70%.
The total of 3.30% will be applied for 1st April 2022.
