Dr Saleem Ajumal
MBBS, MS, D Urol., MRCGP, FMMC, is a leading General Practitioner in Lincolnshire, UK.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the Madras Medical College, one of the premier medical colleges in India, he completed his post-graduation from another institution of high repute, Kasturba Medical College, also in India. Although a highly-reputed surgeon who was part of renal transplant team in one of India’s leading hospitals, Ajumal did not rest on his laurels. He successfully advanced his professional education and training at the University College, London, UK, a top-20 institution in the World University Rankings.
Ajumal’s services to the community span more than three decades. After qualifying as a GP in 2008, he established his practice to serve patients in rural England. He is currently Senior Partner and GP at Littlebury Medical Centre, Holbeach, which is a training practice.
He is currently Clinical Director of South Lincs Rural PCN, one of the largest primary care networks in Lincolnshire.
A motivating leader and organiser of events even beyond the call of Medicine from a young age, Ajumal is deeply committed to community and philanthropic activities. He has successfully initiated and led several cultural, relief, and fund-raising events in India and the UK. He is Chairman of the Sleaford Islamic Centre, which was a finalist at the North Kesteven Community Champion Awards, 2021.
He is the proud father of two children and four grandchildren. His other interests include Gardening, Travelling, and Cookery.
