Occupational Health Medicals

Dear %recipient.firstname%,

When performing employment medicals GPs do not have to express an opinion about whether a patient is fit to carry out their occupation. We recently had discussions with District Councils about this in respect of taxi medicals. The LMC has been asked to produce a letter which practices can give to patients to explain this. I have attached this letter for you to use, and will also put it on the LMC website.
