Introduction of WebV for radiology requests

Lincolnshire CCG will soon be introducing a new software application for GP practices to request radiology tests. Practices need to sign up all their clinicians to be able to use this software application.

This software application, WebV, is currently used by both ULHT and NLAG to request radiology tests, blood tests, and record physiological readings when patients are in hospital.

WebV will soon be rolled out to GP practices so that clinicians can request radiology tests without generating a paper form or email form. The request will be transmitted automatically to the radiology department. WebV will be integrated with both EMIS and SystmOne to enable ease of access.

By using WebV practices will also have access to radiology results and other diagnostics which have been carried out at the hospital.

WebV will in future replace LabelTrace as the system used to request blood tests.

Further details will follow regarding timeframes for the switch to this new system. The CCG will also provide guidance how to use WebV.

Please ensure that your practice signs up all clinicians and administrators to be able to access WebV.
