What do I need to do before the first collection on 31^st July?

The aim of this new service is to make the task as simple and efficient as possible to help minimise the burden placed upon practices and primary care networks (PCNs). Before the first collection on 31^st July, practices will need to:

1. Check that the person responsible for filling in the NWRS has registered for the new service via the Strategic Data Collection Service (SDCS). If you are already registered, you do not need to register again but you will need to sign in before 31^st July to check that your login details are still valid.
2. Make sure you organisation/s information is correct.

Provision of workforce data is also a contractual requirement for practices and primary care networks. It is used to understand capacity across the primary care workforce and informs on how investment, training, and resource is directed across the primary care workforce.
