Job summary

We are looking for a friendly assistant to join our busy dispensary team at Sleaford Medical Group.

Experience in a dispensary or pharmacy is preferred but not essential, as long as you have excellent customer service and admin skills. It is more important to us that you are “the right person” and fit in with our positive, can-do culture.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate would work within the dispensary team, providing support in the day-to-day running of the department. The ideal candidate would have an evidenced experience of working within a customer facing environment

The post-holder will project a positive and friendly image to dispensary patients and other visitors and deal with queries in a polite, professional, courteous and efficient way. Desirable experience and qualifications would include; an evidenced experience of working within a customer facing environment and knowledge of the Dispensary/Pharmacy role within the health care sector.

Qualifications

Essential

GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths

Desirable

Qualified to NVQ level 2 in Customer Service or similar

Experience

Essential

Experience in a customer facing environment

Desirable

Experience working in a Dispensary/Pharmacy role
Experience of working in primary care / GP environment
Experience of working with ‘SystmOne’

Skills

Essential

Excellent communication skills
Good level of IT skill, including Microsoft Office software
