New Springwells Practice – Phlebotomist
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Phlebotomist to join our friendly, supportive and dedicated team.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic, motivated and a flexible team player to join our Practice.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently or as part of a team and will carry out all duties relating to venepuncture. It is also essential that applicants have excellent communication skills, are forward thinking and can work collaboratively within the practice team to support the delivery of policies and procedures. We strive to ensure excellent medical service is provided by all members of Practice staff, always putting the medical care of our patients at the forefront of all decisions.
We are a small friendly rural Practice situated in a beautiful village with a skilled and experienced clinical team consisting of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Senior Health Care Support Worker and phlebotomist which are all supported by competent and motivated Reception, Dispensary and Administration teams.
The Practice has approximately 6,200 patients and uses SystmOne clinical system and WebV Radiology and Pathology system.
This is a position for 3 days / approximately 22 – 24 hours per week (negotiable) but with flexibility required to cover for annual leave and sickness.
Salary: commensurate to reflect experience and qualifications.
