Swineshead Medical Group is a forward thinking GP training practice and part of the Boston Primary Care Network. Our experienced health care team aims to provide a first class service at all times.

As a Practice Nurse you will be responsible for the delivery of general practice nursing to the whole practice population. The focus of the role is both the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients presenting with long term condition, and the provision of preventative healthcare.

You will work within the general practice team to meet the needs of patients and support the delivery of the services. You will be expected to demonstrate clinical and communication skills to a high standard and a commitment to improving nursing practice through on-going personal and professional development.

We welcome applications from individuals that are registered nurses and we are particularly looking for someone with special interests including Diabetes, Asthma and/or COPD experience.

Qualifications in these specialist areas are preferred but not essential. However the successful candidates would be required to develop their role within these specialist areas and will receive support from a lead GP and the clinical team.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Depending on experience
