Safer Working Actions

CLL and non-cancer PSA template guidance

14.01.2025

Enclosed is the latest Collective action guidance for your practice.

These inform you on how to identify and refer back patients with:

1. CLL

2. PSA monitoring in patients without prostate cancer.

Including S1 template referral letters.

The guidance also has S1 template letters to send to your patients to inform them of the referral.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PSA SEARCH IS BASED ON 3 OR MORE PSA TESTS IN THE LAST 18 MONTHS. YOU MAY HAVE PATIENTS WITH FEWER PSA TESTS IN THE LAST 18 MONTHS WHO WOULD STILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR REFERRAL BACK.

We enclose these below in a ZIP.  To access, you will need to extract the contents of the ZIP file to a location on your system (i.e. Downloads folder).
