A friendly & enthusiastic Salaried GP (Full-time or Part-time) who can work well within a team.

This post may suit a working parent or carer GP who needs that ideal balance between their work and home life.

Someone who is dedicated and adaptable with great interpersonal skills.

We are offering:

Various sessions & work patterns available.

£10,500-£12,500 per session per annum, dependant on skills and experience.

NHS pension & Sick-pay scheme.

About Us

Merton Lodge Surgery is situated in the historic market town of Alford, Lincolnshire.  We have a practice list size of 7,200+ patients who are cared for by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team of medical professionals.

We are part of the First Coastal Rural PCN and benefit from access to high quality clinical supporting staff who hold regular clinics in the surgery, such as: Social Prescribing, First Contact Physiotherapy & Senior Mental Health Nurse clinics.

A modern partnership of one GP & two ANPs, work collaboratively with a focused and dedicated management team to provide a high standard provision of care to our patients.  This cooperative also maintains a supportive and progressive environment for our team to thrive in their personal & professional development.

The surgery boasts a clinical team of:

  • 2 General Practitioners
  • 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners
  • 1 Nurse Practitioner (trainee ANP)
  • 2 Health Care Assistants
  • 3 Practice Nurses
  • 2 Phlebotomists
  • 2 Older Adult Nurses

We are recently inspected by CQC and rated ‘GOOD’.

We are a dispensing practice who use online services such as SystmOne & AccuRX.

Our non-clinical team are highly skilled and thoroughly trained to provide comprehensive administrative support. Our team includes:

  • Care Navigators
  • Qualified Dispensers
  • Medical Secretaries
