27/09/2024 – Basic Life Support

This is a 3 hour F2F workshop that meets the BLS training requirement for Primary care.

By the end of this workshop, delegates will have developed an understanding the importance of assessing a casualty in a life-threatening condition and treating them appropriately. This workshop will be highly interactive with focus on practical elements and group activities, including discussions.

Suitable for:

These are mop-up BLS sessions intended for individuals who have missed their practice's training.

Content:

  • Welcome, introductions and objectives.
    • Recovery positions for breathing casualties
    • Adult CPR and AED
    • Choking
    • Bleeding and Shock
    • Anaphylactic shock with use of training auto injectors

Delivery:

This workshop will be delivered face to face at the Parish Council Offices in Woodhall Spa - (17 Stanhope Avenue, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, LN10 6SP_

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure everyone is ready to start promptly at 10:00hrs.
